WHAT IS THE ORDER PROCESS LIKE?

Order. Order SuperParts™, reconditioned parts, and/or accessories online for FREE Shipping. Order by 5 PM ET (Mon-Fri) for Same Day Shipping.

Delivery. Your order is delivered to you by UPS® in only 1-3 days. Upon shipment, you receive tracking information to watch your order travel from us to you.

Core return if necessary. If your order requires at least one core return, we include a peel-and-stick UPS® return label in the box. Use this label, along with our box and packing materials, to ship back your malfunctioning core(s) to us at your earliest convenience.

Payment if necessary. If you selected the "Net 30-Day Invoice" payment option at checkout, an invoice will be emailed to you when your order ships. The email will contain a secure link allowing you to pay the invoice online via credit card or electronic check within 30 days. You also have the option to physically mail us a check.

WHAT IS THE SERVICE PROCESS LIKE?

Make a label. Visit our Shipping Label Generator to generate and print a BoardTronics-bound UPS® shipping label. You choose your desired shipping speed.

Ship us your malfunctioning component(s). Carefully package your component(s), tape the label to the package, and drop it off at a UPS® Store or with your scheduled UPS® pickup.

Full Reconditioning Services. When your package arrives at our facility, your components are unboxed and go through our comprehensive Full Reconditioning Services process. This 1-2 day service includes component disassembly, complete cleaning, replacement of all failed or potentially failing parts, component reassembly, and thorough field-simulated testing by a separate finalization department.

Delivery. We ship back your serviced components at your chosen inbound shipping speed, and you receive tracking information to watch your shipment travel from us to you. For your convenience, we include a peel-and-stick BoardTronics-bound UPS® shipping label that you can use for next time!

Payment if necessary. If your preferred payment method is "Net 30-Day Invoice", an invoice will be emailed to you when your package ships. The email will contain a secure link allowing you to pay the invoice online via credit card or electronic check within 30 days. You also have the option to physically mail us a check. If your peferred payment method is "Credit Card", your credit card on file is billed when your order ships, and a payment receipt is emailed to you.

WHY DO RECONDITIONED PARTS REQUIRE A CORE RETURN?

Buying a reconditioned part out of our inventory is equivalent to sending your own part in for Full Reconditioning Services, but instead of having your own malfunctioning part serviced, you’re essentially exchanging it for a part that has already been serviced. This allows you to cut time out of the traditional Full Reconditioning Services transaction because we ship you our part first and include peel-and-stick UPS® return label for you to ship us your malfunctioning part after receiving ours.


We're able to offer you this convenience because we have invested in building an extensive reconditioned inventory over many years. Requiring core returns prevents our reconditioned inventory from disappearing over time, allowing us to continue to offer this convenience for our customers in the future.

WHY DO SOME SuperParts™ REQUIRE A CORE RETURN?

There are three types of SuperParts™ that require core returns: SuperParts™ Decoder Modules, SuperParts™ Timing Mechanisms, and SuperParts™ 2-Wire Comm Boards (all other SuperParts™ do not require core returns). All three of these products contain licensed software, so core returns are required in order for us to complete the transfer of your software license from your old component to the new one.

HOW DO I OPEN AN ACCOUNT?

Opening an account with us is easy, and no credit app is required! Just click on the “New Customer? Open an Account” link in the upper right region of this page, or click here. It only takes a couple minutes to open an account, and once you’ve done so, you can immediately place orders for parts or ship us your own malfunctioning parts in need of service.

I ALREADY SET UP AN ACCOUNT WITH BOARDTRONICS OVER THE PHONE, BUT I WANT TO START ORDERING ONLINE. HOW DO I PROCEED?

If you have opened an account over the phone with us in the past but want to take advantage of free shipping by ordering online, it's easy to get started—just start adding items to your cart! When you reach the checkout page, you will be asked for your billing/shipping address and an email address/password. Upon placing your first online order, your online account will be established and you'll be able use your email address and password to sign back into the website in the future. In the backend, your existing account information will be tied to your newly-created online account so that we maintain all your information, order history, and account notes.

DO YOU ACCEPT INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS?

Yes! Although we are a U.S. company, but we do business with superintendents all across the world. Feel free to open an account and order online! Be sure to use a credit card at checkout, however, because all international orders must be paid for prior to shipment.

We'll return the information you need in a timely manner so that you can get started on your first order as soon as possible.

HOW DO I OBTAIN YOUR FEDERAL FORM W-9?

Any customer who has placed at least one order with us can access and download our most recent Federal Form W-9. Just visit boardtronics.com/w9 and click the DOWNLOAD button. You will then be asked for password—this password can be found in the upper right corner of any invoice you have received from us. If you cannot locate a BoardTronics invoice, email us and we'll respond promptly to your inquiry.

HOW ARE YOUR PRICES SO LOW?

We get this question a lot! If you are used to doing business with the OEM and/or their distributors, the price of our products and services may be surprisingly low. This is because we do business directly with our customers, completely eliminating unnecessary distributor markups. We also leverage our worldwide procurement reach and component purchasing power to yield low component costs. These two factors are key to our low prices for our best-in-class products and services.
