LESSON SUMMARY: This lesson is designed to assist the user in clearing the “Power Outage” message on the Timing Mechanism after a power outage.

🛑 STOP: ALWAYS TURN OFF THE POWER TO THE SATELLITE BEFORE REMOVING OR INSTALLING ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS.


If the display on a Hunter VSX Timing Mechanism reads “Power Outage,” power to the satellite was temporarily lost. The “Power Outage” message can be cleared by pressing the “CLEAR” button on the Timing Mechanism keypad. All programming information will remain stored in the Timing Mechanism in the event of a power outage.
