ISSUE:

Timing Mechanism is dead

If the Timing Mechanism in your Toro Network LTC version 1 cabinet is dead or showing no display, follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:

  • Check the voltages coming out of the Power Transformer using a multi-meter: at the 4-pin power connector, check for 13V AC between the black and white wires and 26V AC between the purple and white wires.
  • If the voltages are correct, the problem lies with the Timing Mechanism, and it should be repaired or replaced.
  • If either of the voltages are incorrect, remove the Power Transformer cover and measure the voltage going into it. It should measure 110-120V AC, but that number can vary depending on your installation.
  • If the voltage is low or nonexistent, the problem may lie with your power source.
  • If your power source is functional, the Power Transformer is malfunctioning and should be repaired or replaced with a new one.
