ISSUE:

A single station is not turning on or is stuck on

If a single station in your Network LTC® version 2 system is not turning on or is stuck on, begin troubleshooting the problem by checking the condition of a couple key connection points:

  • Check for debris or corrosion in the connection between the Power Distribution Board and the corresponding 4-Station Output Board, as well as the output contacts and wiring at the black output connecter. If there is corrosion, the 4-Station Output Board is likely faulty and should be repaired or replaced.
  • Check to see if the 4-Station Output Board switches can easily be changed and work in all three positions (On, Off, and Auto). If there are issues here, the 4-Station Output Board should be repaired or replaced.
  • If the 4-Station Output Board checks out, the problem may be related to the Timing Mechanism or Power Distribution Board. Check this by swapping these components, with known operational units from another satellite.
