ISSUE:

Multiple stations are not turning on or are stuck on

  • Check the 24-VAC indicator lights on each 8-Station Output Board and on the Pump Common. They should all be illuminated.
  • If none of the lights are on:
    • Check the 3.2A fuse on the Power Supply, which provides the 24-VAC power to the station outputs.
    • If the 3.2A fuse is good, use a voltmeter to check for 24-VAC at the 2-wire connector on the 24-VAC Connector Group.
    • If 24V is present here, the 24-VAC Connector Group is at fault and should be replaced with a new one.
    • If 24V is not present at the connector, check for 24-VAC at the output connector on the Power Supply.
    • If 24V is present here, then the wiring harness running from the Power Supply and the 24-VAC Connector Group is faulty and should be replaced.
    • If 24V is not present at the output connector on the Power Supply, the problem lies with the Power Supply itself, and it must be repaired.
  • If all lights are on:
    • Ensure that the "Common" switch at the top of the Pump Common(s) is in the "Auto" position.
    • Check the Common indicator lights on the Pump Common(s).
    • If the indicator lights are not on, move components, one at a time, from the nonfunctioning satellite to a known functioning satellite in order to pinpoint which component is causing the problem, as a faulty component will also cause problems in the known functioning satellite. Begin with the Pump Common, and if necessary, continue in order with the Timing Mechanism, 40-Pin Cable, the Output/Pump Cable connecting to the Pump Common, and the Power Distribution Board. The faulty component must be repaired or replaced with a new one.
