EOSMAC HOW-TO:
setting address dip switches

To power down a Toro E-Series OSMAC system, flip the circuit breaker on the power supply inside the cabinet to the "Off" position.

Below is a guide on how to properly set your address dip switches on the Decoder Module in your Toro E-Series OSMAC cabinet:

Address numbers range from 1 to 255. You can set your address dip switches based on your address number using the graphic below. When a switch is in the ON position, it represents a numeric value, as shown in the graphic (the first switch represents 1, the sixth switch represents 32, etc.). When a switch is in the OFF position, it represents 0. You must set your address switches in such a way that the sum of the numeric values of all the ON switches equals your address number.

For example, if your address number is 91, you would set switch 1, 2, 4, 5, and 7 to the ON position because 1 + 2 + 8 + 16 + 64 = 91

For your convenience, we have created an E-Series OSMAC Address Switch Selector Tool. All you need is your address number, and the tool generates an image of how you should set your address dip switches. Click here to access the tool.
