HUNTER ISSUE:
facepack showing "Size 1" or "Size 0" error

To power down a Hunter VSX or Hunter Genesis system, flip the "Power On" switch inside the cabinet to the "Off" position.

If the Timing Mechanism ("Facepack") in your Hunter VSX or Hunter Genesis cabinet is showing a "Size 1" error or a "Size 0" error, it usually means that the Timing Mechanism is not receiving feedback from the TRIAC Boards. Follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Check the loop-back connector and ensure that it is plugged into the last TRIAC Board.
  2. Check for corrosion and/or damage at each TRIAC Board connection. If corrosion and/or damage is present on one or more TRIAC Boards, we recommend replacing them. Brand new TRIAC Boards for Hunter VSX can be purchased HERE, and brand new TRIAC Boards for Hunter Genesis can be purchased HERE.
  3. Swap the Power Supply with a known operational Power Supply from another satellite location.
  4. If the problem goes away, the original Power Supply must be replaced. Brand new Power Supplies for Hunter VSX can be purchased HERE, and brand new Power Supplies for Hunter Genesis can be purchased HERE.
  5. If problem persists, at least one of the TRIAC Boards is malfunctioning. One at a time, swap each TRIAC Board with a known operational TRIAC Board from another satellite location, allowing you to single out which TRIAC Board(s) prompts the error. Any TRIAC Boards that are found to cause the error must be replaced. Brand new TRIAC Boards for Hunter VSX can be purchased HERE, and brand new TRIAC Boards for Hunter Genesis can be purchased HERE.
