LTC 1.1 HOW-TO:
self-testing a faceplate

To power down a Toro Network LTC 1.1 system, flip the black circuit breaker on the Power Supply inside the cabinet to the "Off" position.

To self-test the Timing Mechanism ("Faceplate") in your Toro Network LTC 1.1 cabinet, you first need to indentify the version of your Timing Mechanism. v1.0 Timing Mechanisms can run four programs, and v2.5 Timing Mechanisms can run eight programs. The self-testing process is different depending on which version you have.

    Self-testing a v1.0 (4-program) Timing Mechanism

  1. Press and hold the down-arrow, up-arrow, and STOP buttons until each display reads 1.
  2. The Timing Mechanism will go through the self-test at this point, checking the memory, flashing all LEDs, activating all display segments, and sequentially activating all stations.
  3. After the displays stop sequencing, there will be a single number visible. This is simply a code that changes as different buttons are pressed.

    Reinitializing a v2.5 (8-program) Timing Mechanism

  1. Power down the cabinet.
  2. Press and hold the up-arrow button.
  3. Power up the cabinet while keeping this button held down until a second set of rapid beeps are heard.
  4. The Timing Mechanism will go through the self-test at this point, checking the memory, flashing all LEDs, activating all display segments, and sequentially activating all stations.
  5. After the displays stop sequencing, there will be a single number visible. This is simply a code that changes as different buttons are pressed.
