LTC 1.1 ISSUE:
faceplate dead or no display

To power down a Toro Network LTC 1.1 system, flip the black circuit breaker on the Power Supply inside the cabinet to the "Off" position.

If the Timing Mechanism ("Faceplate") in your Toro Network LTC 1.1 cabinet is dead or showing no display, follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Check the voltages coming out of the transformer using a multi-meter: at the 4-pin power connector, check for 13V AC between the black and white wires and 26V AC between the purple and white wires.
  2. If the voltages are correct, the problem lies with the Timing Mechanism, and it must be replaced. Replacement v1.0 (4-program) Timing Mechanisms can be purchased HERE and replacement v2.5 (8-program) Timing Mechanisms can be purchased HERE.
  3. If either of the voltages are incorrect, remove the transformer cover and measure the voltage going into it. It should measure 110-120V AC, but that number can vary depending on your installation.
  4. If the voltage is low or nonexistent, the problem may lie with your power source.
  5. If your power source is functional, the transformer is malfunctioning.
