LTC 1.1 ISSUE:
intermittent communication problems or modem not communicating with central

To power down a Toro Network LTC 1.1 system, flip the black circuit breaker on the Power Supply inside the cabinet to the "Off" position.

If your Toro Network LTC 1.1 system is experiencing intermittent communication problems, or if your Modem is not communicating with your Central Computer, follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Swap the Modem with a known operational Modem from another satellite location.
  2. If the problem goes away, the original Modem must be replaced. Replacement Modems can be purchased HERE.
  3. If the problem persists, swap back to the original Modem, and swap the Timing Mechanism with a known operational Timing Mechanism from another satellite location.
  4. If the problem goes away, the original Timing Mechanism must be replaced. Replacement v1.0 (4-program) Timing Mechanisms can be purchased HERE and replacement v2.5 (8-program) Timing Mechanisms can be purchased HERE.
  5. If the problem persists, the problem may lie with the cable or signal wires. Each should be swapped for testing to pinpoint the cause.
