SBM ISSUE: timing mechanism not communicating with MAXI Central


  • Check that the address switches are configured properly to the corresponding address number. Information on address switches can be found HERE
  • Make sure that the board (especially the onboard connectors) is free of corrosion.
  • Swap the board out with a known working one to see if the error persists. (After swapping the 2-wire boards, be sure to set your jumpers accordingly.) If the problem is resolved, the issue is with the original 2-wire board, which must be sent in for reconditioning. Create a UPS Shipping Label HERE.
  • If you are using the newer communications board, check that the fuse at the top is not blown. Replace if necessary (0.5Amp). Also, make sure that the fuse is making good contact with the fuse clips and that there is no corrosion.
